Mary Lennox is a spoiled and lonely child who is sent to live with her uncle at in England after her parents' death. Initially sour and self-centered, Mary discovers a hidden, neglected garden on the estate. As she begins to nurture the garden back to life, she undergoes a personal transformation, becoming kinder, more empathetic, and filled with purpose.
