Dubkikosam Oka Illu is a children’s picture book that tells the story of Yasmin, a young girl whose home is a tin box that becomes uncomfortably hot in the sun and cold at night. Her stray dog friend, Dubki, has no home at all. Moved by this unfairness, Yasmin decides to build a proper house for Dubki, inspired by observing her own parents’ work. The story explores themes of home, empathy, compassion, fairness, and resilience through simple yet touching narrative and illustrations suited for early readers.
